Emyr's updates of December 13th, 2011 WE ARE OFFICALLY CLOSED my dears.
Activity is completely gone, and there is absolutely no way to salvage it. Sorry for all of you dedicated members, StS just can't keep afloat. If you're still interested in RPing Harry Potter, take a look at Hp v5: Year of Memories.It's very active, and won't die like StS did. Thank you all for being so supportive and patient with the site, but I chose a bad time to try again.

The Regulations (3 sub-boards) Welcome to Spin The Stars. As a part of the wizarding world, you are expected to follow all rules and magical regulations before proceeding.
Rumors & Events (2 sub-boards) This thread is where rumors that are related to the current chapter will go. These rumors should encourage your role-playing threads, and don't be shy on giving us ideas!
Character Creation (3 sub-boards) This is the board for character creation! Making an application shouldn't be too hard, but please take your time and do not change the coding on it in any way. Once it is finished, a staff member will be right over to approve you!
Character Profiles (8 sub-boards) Once you have been accepted, post your character profile here in the proper forum. Feel free to expand your profile to include a full history and include plot page elements.
Character Extras (2 sub-boards) This is where all of the thread trackers, character requests, and all the other things your character could possibly need are located.
Electronic Communications Muggle technology is seeping into the wizard community, so it isn't uncommon for people to have cell phones and computers. You can RP text message, instant message, etc. conversations here.
Dreamscape (1 sub-board) Ever want to RP out a characters dream, a past or future event, or what might happen in an alternate reality? This is the place to do it! Riding a dragon, killing a basilisk, snogging the Dark Lady... The possibilities are endless! Consequently, it's perfectly alright for characters to act differently than they would in the present reality.
Seventh Floor (6 sub-boards) This floor is home to many different rooms that are commonly used by students. Two dormitories are situated on this floor and traffic isn't a rare sight to see. It is also home to the Arithmancy and Divination classrooms. It's a busy floor to be on.
Sixth Floor (3 sub-boards) Containing the Ancient Runes and Magical Theory classrooms, and also the huge East Wing. The floor itself is known as the neutral ground in Hogwarts, where every single House meets.

Fifth Floor (3 sub-boards) The fifth floor is home to various restrooms and classrooms. The fifth floor is also the location of the muggle's class, Art. In fact, the floor has a few rooms associated with muggles.

Fourth Floor (3 sub-boards) The fourth floor, right in the middle of Hogwarts, contains the History of Magic class and also the library, yes the large library with its huge study area and its dangerous books.
Third Floor (4 sub-boards) Containing two classrooms, and seeing as how both the classes are mandatory for all kids, the Third Floor is one of the more active floors in Hogwarts. It's been said that there is a secret passageway that can take people all the way to Honeydukes, yes the sweet shop.
Second Floor (3 sub-boards) People tend to stay away from this floor, since most people say that the place is haunted. Yes haunted, and also that if you stay here long enough you will get bad luck. Why they say this? Moaning Murtle and the Demonology class.
First Floor (3 sub-boards) The first floor of Hogwarts, right above the ground floor, this area boasts the History of Magic, Muggle Studies, and even Arithmancy. Students of Hogwarts call this floor the death floor, since all the classes here are so boring, and also because the hospital wing, and detention center are here.
The Dungeons (4 sub-boards) These cold stone corridors are located beneath the castle itself. They are incredibly difficult to navigate, especially for first years. Slugs, stones, and ghosts are found here in abundance, but there is little else decorating these gloomy halls.
Wizarding London (6 sub-boards) Wizarding London has two major points of interest - Diagon Alley, accessed through the Leaky Cauldron, and the Ministry of Magic itself.

Hogsmeade (5 sub-boards) The only all-wizard community in Britain. It is a picturesque town filled with cottages and small specialty shops. Hogwarts students of all years may visit here on the weekends.

Residences Even wizards and witches have to live somewhere! Whether it be in a large mansion, or a rundown shack, all of the residential buildings in London are located under this board.

The Rock Also know as Azkaban, The Rock, is a terrible place filled with the most hardened, treacherous, and evil people in London. Dementors roam the halls of the prison, sapping the happiness, and causing prisoners to go mad. Of course the use of dementor's is being debated inside of the ministry, people say the method of keeping prisoners in check is inhumane.

Muggle World This is where the muggles live, eat, and work. Wizards and witches aren't allowed to use magic here since the Ministry still wants to keep them blissfully unaware of the wizarding world.
